They say they are LiPos, you hear so many claims from so many manufactures that don't hold up, though I'm not sure 80 cycles is what I'd consider a long life.

I almost bought one to try it out, but they seem heavy.

A 4s pack is 3.6 oz's heavier than a TP 2000 4s pack.

I figured I'd wait till others used them.

I wrote them an email and they got back to me within 15 minutes.

Here is what I wrote:

Here is their reply:

Dear Bruce,

Thanks for bringing this up. We will need to modify that passage on our website. If you scroll down the page, you will see a graphic of battery capacity vs discharge cycle. What we meant to say is that the battery still retain 90% of the original capacity even after 100 cycles. This is above the industrial average.

I still want a bit more detail on the low voltage thing. Just how far down can you take them and still take a charge with no damage. I'll e-mail em tonight unless someone else already has.

You can discharge them down to 2 volts per cell. I dont think the 450 would even fly at that voltage.

There were alot of batteries out there that started out as a no name brand battery until people stepped up to the plate to test them out and see if they can become a named brand battery.There is nothing wrong with going out on your own for awhile and trying new things and not doing what everyone else is doing...

There's nothing wrong at all with that. The more time and money you have the more you can do that.

Lots of folks have already done that and many have concluded you get what you pay for. The leading brands have come out on top during testing.

Any reputable reseller should be able to provide discharge curves for batteries. The test in QuietFlyer was enlightening.
