Hi i am new to the hobby and have just got myself a gaui hurricane 550 and was looking for some advice on batteries the heli came with 2 14.8v 2200mah batteries and a 980 kv brushless motor and wondered what batteries would give me a longer flight time. any help wiould be much appreciated.

14.8V? They should be 11.1v. 2 4S packs will fry most non HV speedos.
2 3S 2200 packs with the kit motor should get you ~6 min of basic flying around. Ther stock motor is not up to 3D.
With a hotter motor you will get ~4:30 min on 2200 or ~5 min on 2500's
