| A few questions. They may seems dumb, but I wanted to see if I was doing it wrong...
1) how do you mount the prop on the brushless tail motor? I used an adjustable slip joint wrench like this: http://www.amazon.com/Knipex-10-250...86974917&sr=1-2 I then put on plastic in between the teeth of the wrench so as to not harm the motor or the plastic prop, and then I squeezed it on there.
2) how do you put the pinion on the Main park 470 brushless motor? I used a hammer and put the brushless motor on some hard wood to get the pinion started, then I used the adjustable slip joint wrench again to squeeze it on there.
3) also I was having a heck of a time sliding the 3 wires through the boom. I used some servo wire, and split them up like every one said, and then I fed a single wire all the way through the boom. Then I soldered all of my 3 servo wires to that one wire. Then it was easy, I just pulled then all the way through the Tail boom. |
