But....is this realy a good heli powerwise compare to a 50 nitro heli??

shoud i get somthing else thats electric?

is it overhyped on several forums?

I realy like this 2x3s packs idea......dont cost so much and long flight times

I'm very interested in this heli as well! The thing is though I can't believe that a .50 sie heli could possibly have good power on just 2 T-Rex size packs. Sounds too good to be true to me! I'm waiting for someone to buy one of these and post an unbiased review.
I have a Swift running on 4 2200mAh 3S packs re-configured to a 6S2P4400mAh pack. That's plenty of power for the Swift. I seriously doubt the Hurricane could do any decent 3D on 2 2200mAh packs though. If it can I'd bet it would only have good power for about 2 min. max! Then after a few cycles I bet the batteries would be toast from overloading them.
Someone test one of these please!

I have one, it is not a 50 sized machine. At most it will spin 550mm blades (30 sized) and even then its pushing the airframe. 500mm blades are better suited. The stock powertrain is no powerhouse either. I firmly believe much of what has been posted is very enthusiastic and not really based on fact.

we can never have too many, can we ?

hurricane 550

Mine has ample power for around 7-9 minutes! on 2 2070 3s packs. That is w/ stock elenion cs. I have just purchased the elecs for the trex600 and will be upgrading to that soon. I will let you know how it goes. The reason- I my - that the packs are enough is because of the weight. It is very light.
