Just to let you know, I had the engine fired up for the first time today, blades on, just running in. Never the less, still butt twitching for my first ever attempt. Too windy to take off though, gusts up to 30 mph, I'll have to wait for the wind to calm down. Adrenalin high and feel good factor though, can't wait to go again.

I think I have grown webbed feet over the last couple of weeks !!
At least we didn't get the 90/100mph winds you guys had up north, I think we maxxed out about 70mph.

Bad news is that there is more forecast for later this week !!

The engine was an absolute w@anker to setup, but I got the bloke in the shop to sort it out now it runs good. Too true they are very very dirty and labour intensive. Mine is going plenty fast and I'm just breaking it in, after 5 more tanks I'll stick some of this 25% nitro that that has been lingering around for a while in it, should move then

i'm from southern California and i really feal sorry for the people who have winters

the only thing that prevents flying here is rain and that is not too often.

i still have to breaking my os 50 in my sceadu(shcool takes up too much time)

not much longer till i get the thing really flying. i am also stalling while i wait for a 3rd bearing block and another bearing block for the tail pully shaft to do a mod i saw on the internet.

i already like this heli more than my r30 after 20 minutes of flying the sceadu and 12 hrs on the raptor
