Freakin amazing little receiver I tell you!

I won't hesistate to buy more of these for $49 each. I think you just kicked the pants off every other receiver in the biz!

This has nothing to do with heli's other than the fact I wanted to see how far this receiver would go before I put it into a new smaller heli I am eyeballing..

I flew my AR7000 in a giant scale Cap 232 yesterday, out to the limits of sight and it was still solid. I love my DX7.

3.5 miles past LOS in sea level mountain range. Whistler, BC.

No issues.

That's with the AR6000/DX6.

I've gone up to 500ft and 3.5 miles out past the Tx with GPS logging flight telemetry.

What is your definition of 'out of range.....' ?

2 field tests.

Near the Cheakamus Glacier by Black Tusk in Whistler.

Take off at Alta Lake and 7 miles+ up at 1,300 ft flying approx 100-150 ft parallel to the mountain up to the cynder cone.

All done on a stock easystar, CF reinforced trailing edge wings, Nikon 3700, Rangevideo 900mz downlink, Garmin Geko 201 GPS, AR6000 rx.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that the 'old' DX6/AR6000 has excellent range past line of sight.

... But honey it was only $$$
