Just wondering if Bergen has a shroud that will fit over the Hyper head on the OS .91 for the Intrepid 3d? seems to me they will need a new one soon because the new OS .91c uses the Hyper head, I had to modify my stock shroud, just would like one that fits it nice.

Hi,

What did you have to do to the shroud? Have just ordered a 'C' Spec and wondered what I will need to do to the shroud to make it fit.

I'm also wondering what you needed to do to your sroud to make it fit. Currently, I think they only have the one fan shroud. If you could post some pictures, that would help.

I'm running a HyperHead on my X-Cell SE. It didn't fit in the cooling shoud so I first tried cutting the shroud but had to remove to much material. A better solution has been to just make the head narrower. I have a 12" disk sander and just shaved the thing to the width of the stock OS head. Problem solved perfect fit. Now that the mod is complete I see very little differance in the running but it looks much cooler!

Ok, I will take some pictures today and show how I cut mine. I was going to machine the sides of the head to fit the current shroud, but, the top two fins will still be outside the shroud anyway. so Idecided not to go that route and did modify my shoud, I have put 4 gallons thru it so far now, every thing seems fine. I am not so sure about it in the summer though.
