I purchased a hurrican 50 with just about every blinged part you could buy. Minus the metal tail case and a few other minor parts.

Took me no time to built. But I had to wait on a piston, ring and a set of blades. But once I got everything installed and setup up I had to ditch work to see how it flew.
I took my titan and the Hurrican to the field. Naturaly I flew the Hurrican first.

I must say I now know why RJX says (you will think its a 90).
It will not only out perform my titan by far but it will keep up and fly just like a friends vibe. Which flew with me. Rock solid controls on this machine. Any other 50 size machine could only dream about performing like this heli does.

In short I have flown more helis than I can remember, from turbines to blade cp's and this heli is by far my favorite. I like it so much I will be ordering another one and then the e-version.

I would keep an eye on this helicopter.

I love this heli. Not only is it cheaper than my titan but the upgrades for it is just awsome. Flys extreamly well also

Where is Mayday again?

There are too many funflies, I always forget where they are.

Nevermind, I found it

I don't know if I'd be able to make it.
My parents said they will take me to a funfly I chose for my b-day (March 1st).
I still don't know where I want to go.

Hurrican 50 Noisy Main Gears

Hi guys and gals,
Just flown my new bird and am generaly impressed apart from the noise from i think the main gear. At first it sounded like bearing noise but i have been convinced by others that it is deffinatly the gears. Can anyone shed some light for me as i think i am only the 4th Aussie with one of these.

Spitfire

Are you running the stock 87 tooth main gear or the new blue 85 tooth?

Hurrican 50 Noisy Main Gears

Hi Clyde,
Thanks for your interest in my problem. Let me try and give you the whole story.I built the machine with the grey gear supplied and found it very noisy. When i took it back to my supplyer he said he had the same problem with his from new but after approx 10 flights he says his quietend down.At the same time he gave me a new blue gear which he recomended i fit as it was a laser cut job. This i fitted and flew the bird no difference.3 flights later im in a steady hover when all hell breaks loose fortunately get it on the ground. On investigation i have lost 4 teeth and levelled out 10 more.I now have another blue gear fitted 2 flights so far so good but same noise. Its all a bit of a worry, dosn't instill one with confidence if you get my drift. The only other prob i have had is that the clutch is a bit draggy at tickover. When i get these probs sorted i think i am looking at a real nice machine. Hope you can help.
Regards Chris.
