| I have a suggestion....
When creating a new topic with a post that has a URL link to something like a YouTube.com video or Break.com video, check to see that another thread isn't already active that had that same url in the topic starting post.
There are so many redundant threads that get started linking to the same video from folks that don't bother searching before posting.
A message like "There is already an active thread (with url to the thread) discussing this link - Are you sure you wish to proceed?"
This likely means storing URLs in topic starting posts in a separate table so you could do the search but it sure would cut down on the number of redundant threads on a video.
Anyways... Just a suggestion
