Did you check if you hooked up the servos correctly to the Mixer ?

which mixer do you have ? TH-1 or 2 or the MS mixer ?

The Front swash left and rear swash right tilt with forward elevator input is correct IF you have the Elevator to Rudder mixer setup as per the setup instructions. if that`s not the case there is something wrong with the way your servos are hooked up to the mixer.

Also make sure your Swashplate mixer on the Transmitter is in Swash plate mode with a seperate pitch servo and NOT in CCPM mixin ! The Tandem mixer does the CCPM mixing for you and you don`t need to do it in the Transmitter.

Cheers

Hi meatbomber Thanks for the info, I do get the elevator tilt in the swashplate the only thing I do not get is the differential pitch how should it work and with which control? The instructions are confusing

Thanks

The MS Mixer has a yellow wire (no. 5) you can plug it into a free channel on your receiver.

I have it on Channel 5 and a linear slider to change the value. The Input from this channel tells the MS bord how much and in which direction you want your differential pitch mixed in. I don`t see anything in the mixer manual that says you can use it without the input on that no 5 wire... so you`ll have to get a switch/slider or something for your transmitter if it doesn`t have that.

i have a Futaba FX-18 (thats a European version) and if i push my slider up from center i get differential pitch in the correct sense to the elevator input (e.g. Forward stick, aft swash more pitch front swash less pitch) if i push the slider down from center it`s the opposite... i can`t remember and i don`t have the TX here right so i can`t tell if i had to reverse the channel in the Transmitter.

hope that helps

Well i never use a pitch gauge, i setup all my helis so that at midstick i have 0 pitch... the top end is around 10 degrees the low about 5 degrees for my Tandem...

basically what you are looking for is at high pitch climbout os good without bogging the motor. The low pitch doesnt have to be as high, but you should have at least a bit of negative otherwise the heli wont descend from forward flight.

cheers
