So I'm looking at the scale page on this site and there is a thread about Airwolf. I am planning on building a 30 size airwolf, so I have been trying to find info on them... So someone puts up a link to "airwolf.org" I go to this site and you have to sign in. It turns out its a forum for airwolf, the movie.. These people are pretty interesting! There was a posting and a guy says, " I saw this on the nightrider forum" I'm thinking...where do these people come from? Even better, you can put your very own favorite pic of stringfellow hawk under your name. It turns out most of the people on the board are European, I guess Airwolf is pretty hot stuff over there. And, Europeans have an inordinate amount of spare time on their hands. And to think, I almost threw away my Jan Michael Vincent autographed jock strap.

The amazing things you can find on the internet...

LOL

I thought the same thing when I got there. I wondered, when was the last time some of these people spent any time outside, interacting with other people.

The would probably come over here though and think "Wow...what a bunch of geeks, so obsessed with their toy helicopters".

The site does have some very good information on it. Like anything else on the internet, you just have to pick through all the garbage to get to the good stuff.

Oh well...to each his own.

Just think if we could get those people to come out from under their computers and get into RC we would have a whole bunch of little airwolves flying all over the place. Kind of makes you want to change your mind about building a scale airwolf - Mike?

Dave, LOL!

No, I've always thought it would be cool to build an airwolf... I wish Hirobo made one, luckily a lot of the bodies work well with shuttle mechs. I want to build a Dauphin, but think I need to have a little experience before I tackle such a big project. All the hirobo scale stuff is fairly simple to put together...so I'm told.

Dave B is going to have his Dauphin at Vegas this weekend, gonna take tons of pics.

The weather forecast for vegas is not good, if I hadn't spent so much time taking apart four helis and putting them in the cases, I'd probably bail. Hopefully we'll get some good flying in.

Us Europeans do have to much spare time to spend on forums - it's too cold, wet and windy to do anything else
