I found a picture on the net...

looks like it's gonna cost about 150bucks...1st production run (nearly 1000 units) are almost sold out...440mm main rotor, takes standard servos, G-10 frames... metal swash and tail section.... thats about all I can find out about it for now...

Cool...

I was wondering about a heli smaller than a 30 and more stable than a LMH.What type of engine, maybe an over size using an OS 32sxh?

I bet a 32 in this 15 sized model would make it scream... I'm sure if it can be done.. someone will do it..

From what I understand it uses the car motors, which already scream, have a huge aftermarket, and make crazy power. OS's top of the line 21 sized motor makes like 2.5 horse... Try putting that kind of power through 440s. Anybody have any experience with it? Is it CCPM or standard mix. It has an all metal head too, so how heavy is it?

Thanks, John Cadwell

Go to complete kits under the heli section in the menu on the left side. Not a lot of info, but that is the source.

Here is a Japanese translation of a review. Kind of hard to follow, but you get a general idea.

I want one too!

That does look like one sweet machine. I hope the kits and parts get imported. In the mean time I just might have to order one. Anyone buy from the hobbynet-jp before?

Think it would auto like a featherless ostrich?

I Visited HHI a few weeks ago and they were in the process of assembling one and writing the english assy. instructions. It is 120º CCPM thst uses standard size servos. I believe everything has ball bearings- no bushings. It will be available with a motor and without if I recall correctly. It is a belt tail drive that uses a very thin toothed belt. Size-wise it looks about the same size as a voyager electric. I believe that all parts were machined aluminum without any plastic parts. I plan on going back up in a few weeks to see it fly. I'm guessing that some of the carbon blades for the voyager electric or Eco heli will fit it but I'm not 100% sure. It did look very nice. I did mention to Irwin that an aftermarket muffler that would quiet down those screaming car motors would be a big help since these smaller helis are flown in a little closer than the larger helis.
Someone in Europe has one already as I read on RCU.

Looks pretty amazing, what is your general feeling about it? Decent quality? Some of the machining looks a little rough. I can see carbon fiber in this helis future.

Thanks, John Cadwell

I think the quality is good, some edges are a little bit rough but a bit of fine sandpaper and the edges are smooth.
I haven't flown it yet but so far so good.

What do you expect for less than $150.

I think is great quality for the dollar!Actually I expected it to be MUCH worse. You can't even compare a LMH and this heli. The only thing I don't care for is CCPM and would prefer th standard, but hey I guess I could get into it...
