| My Raptor hyper 50/401/9254/MP2 and full metal head along with my 8103 with some other assorted items was stolen out of my garage on Feb 15, 07. Im in Ft walton Beach and heres the bitch...I think it was a DirectTV contract installer. I was out of town and my wife was home with our 5yr old who was sick. He spiked a fever and she had to run him to the doctor, leaving the contractor who was running an extra line. When she arrived back he was still working on the line.
Fast forward 24hrs and i go into the garageand notice my Ryobi drill is missing and then my radio case. So my wife and I are kinda scratching our heads when about 15 mins later I realize the heli is gone from its hanging spot. Along with some other high dollar tools and misc.
Heres the kicker, nothing else is missing. Literally, many tens of thousands of dollars of jewelry, computer equip, etc and nothing else touched. my garage is not used to house our cars and has not been open since I went out of town on Monday. No forceably entry. he was the only one in the house besides my wife and little one. You could tell it was a hurry job, a couple of things were out of place and he left a much more expensive scale hughes500d 60 size along with numerous scale airplanes.
I live next door to a public park and the police think he took it out the back and over the fence to a friend. I spoke with him twice last night and while I didn't accuse him, i told him we had some things missing and he assured me it was not him. I can't prove its him and oddly enough want to believe him.
Anyway its all insured its just the damn radio was programmed for all my helis, sims and AC. The installer is from Pensacola so it will prob show up over there or Mobile so anyone from those areas please keep an eye out. I'm off to the local hobby stores and pawn shops today.
