i know the spectrum and futaba charge is different in the one has positive inside and the other has positive outside....... my questiions is, if i used a futaba charge jack to charge my spectrum TX could i just switch my leads to my charger? ie red to blk and blk to red?

yes you can do that, you still need the jr plug to use because it think it is smaller hole, and futaba use a larger hole. just use a volt meter to check everything out before you use it.
