Ok I just purchased a Knight 50 Sport, should be here later this week. This is my 1st nitro heli, and my 1st build. Currently have a CX2 and a CP pro. So I wanted to list what I plan on using and would appreciate any comments and suggestions. And what Else I'm going to need to get it going.

Engine: OS 50 Hyper or TT 50 pro, leaning towards Hyper

Radio:Just bought this: http://runryder.com/helicopter/t317273p1/

Servos:HS-625MG High-Speed 2BB X4

Gyro:GY401 w/S9254

Blades:Gohbee Carbon blades

Fuel: ??? and where to get no LHS

Any of this can change, so any suggestions would be great, also keeping in mind I'm on budget so anywhere I could save money without compromising my heli would be great.

And I know theres more I'm going to need, just not sure what.

I just bought this too.

So far your choices seem decent. Although I understand that you are on a budget, I would have tried to purchase a newer radio. I had a Futaba 8UHPS once. While it is a nice radio, it can be difficult to understand at times. Get the OS 50 Hyper and you won't regret it. The TT50's can be a pain to tune. I would also consider Futaba 9252's for your servos. You can get bulk 9252's at Rick's for $65 each. These servos are very reliable and have very nice specs for the price. The bulk servos do not include the output shaft screws or servo arms, but these can be bought for very little.

A governor is not really needed at all. I didn't start using one until I started doing basic 3D. Learning how to set up a proper throttle and pitch curve is far more important than using a governor at your stage. Use the money to buy fuel instead of a governor for now. Once you start flying 3D then you can try out a governor.

I have never flown with one myself. You should keep your eyes open here on RR or ebay for a Jr 9303. I have seen the transmitter alone sell for right around $300. IMO this is the best radio for the price. It does everything you need. It is very hard to beat the value and ease of programming on the Jr 9303.

RD8000's are excellent radios, feel great in you're hands, nice stick feel and will send that swash straight up and down.
The servos in the package you list however are very marginal for a 50 size machine, only 50oz-in of torque. Not enough in my opinion.
I would spend as much money as you can on servos. They really affect how well the heli handles.
As ez2bgman says the 9252's are great value for money and will really give the Knight 50 that locked in feel.
Personally I would keep an eye on the classifieds there are a bunch of great deals on radios since the DX7 has been released.

my biggest problem is, I have limited funds so right now theres no way I can afford some stuff. I guess my plan was upgrade as I get the funds. I just want to be able to fly it. I'm starting to realize I might have to rethink my stradegy a bit a maybe take a bit longer to get it in the air.
