I was talking to a gentleman at my club recently, he flys airplanes. I asked what he thinks of the DX7 and he said overall he likes it but he said it doesn't have rudder expo. Is this just an airplane thing that's lacking or does the DX7 not come with rudder expo capability?

Yeah, the DX7 is basically a 8103. DX7 Manual.

Thanks, not sure why this guy was convinced that it didn't have rudder expo. Maybe he was talking about the DX6.

Probably. According to the docs, the DX6 only has D/R and Expo on Aileron and Elevator...

Yep your buddy was thinking of the DX6 not the new DX7 - The DX6 doesn't have Expo on rudder and can only have D/R on rudder via a mix - The DX7 has full house Expos and D/Rs on all axis.

The DX7 has both positive and negative Expo - JR and Futaba just translate the polarities oppositely - Always been that way.
