I got my DX-7 today. I got it in mode 1. Now i need to swap rudder stick with aileron stick. Anybody has done this before?
I think i can switch just the pots since there shouldn't be any difference in rudder and aileron pots. As i understand it the only critical stick is the motor and i would leave it where it is.

Similar problem - I am flying Mode 1 (throttle on the right stick), would like to know if it is possible simple change from Mode 2 by changing the rachet.

I'm also a Mode 3 pilot. I spoke to Paul Beard and John Adams at the FF last weekend here in LV. They suggest unsoldering, swapping and resoldering the 4 sets of 3 wires that go to the aileron and rudder gimbal pots and trims.

Doing so may void your warranty though, so be careful.
