Has anyone tried mounting a different canopy to the Knight 50? I am not particularly fond of the stock or fiberglass canopy.

Thanks for the pics, but that looks more like the Gohbee Stinger canopy not a Raptr 30/50 canopy.

Weird.

I did not like the canopy either. It remined me of an old Kalt Baron 60.

Now that I have been flying it, I really like it (I guess it grew on me).

I dont like the canopy either im going to try a Gohbee stinger canopy on it see how that goes. Maybe the align trex 600 canopy would look good? Not shure if it will fit though.

I mounted a Voyager body on my all metal Knight, and I think it looks awesome. Might take some doing to find good mounting points on a plastic one though. I call it Knight Voyage.

I haven't finished painting yet due to the ridiculous cold weather here in the Chicago area,so no pictures posted.

The stock Knight canopies both plastic and fiberglass look good if you do some work to them....you have to cut the ugly bubble off the top of the canopy where it goes around the swash and move the canopy back some.

Vander: yes the stockers do look quite a bit better ala Ade Law's canopy mod, but they still have those ridiculous "fish fins" sticking out on them. The "Nemo" paint job I saw on another forum is SO appropriate for the shape.

On that note, I thought the Synergy canopy would look nice painted like an Angelfish.

To each his/her own, appearance is quite a subjective matter.
