I bought a 2700mah nimh battery for my DX7. I solderd the futaba pigtail on it and charged it 3 weeks ago. I have been flying ever scince and it has not dropped under 10.5 volts yet. the Integeral timer says almost 4 hours.

I actually bought the 2700 for my optic6. I have decided to sell it and just fly 2.4ghtz. Hence the install on the DX7.

The 1500maH it comes with is supposed to last 6hrs,so theoretically your 2700 should be good for 10.

I left my Tx on with the stock 1500maH battery and got 3hr 30min before it cut off! 6 hrs is BS!!!

and one more thing "DON'T BE AFRAID!"

Maybe you need to cycle your battery and check the capacity. I went to an indoor fly and was there for a little over 5 hours, and never turned my DX7 off. When I left, it was just under 10v. That's with the stock pack.

jontherooster, Are you by chance using the AR6000? Using it causes the TX to draw more current than the AR6100 and AR7000.
