Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > question about a couple dx7 switches

i may have overlooked this in the manual but there are a couple switches on the radio that i do not see described in the manual. they are on the identification / location diagram (page 63) but i do not see them described.

the two switches are: "Trainer/Hover Pitch Rocker" and "Hover throttle" switch. anyone know what these do and where i can find some documentation about these and what they do.

are there links to any good dx7 sites that provide tips on using the dx7 features?

thanks,
gw

Both of these act like a digital trim switch. Both either increase or decrease the amount of throttle or pitch you have in a hover. Generally useless.

slightly more correct, they modify the pitch & throttle curve
when in NORMAL mode, around the centerpoint of the curve

Sometimes useful during first flight when trying to get the
throttle & pitch dialed in. Otherwise, 98% useless.

placement

could those dang things have been put in a more inconvenient locale... don't know bout you guys but it seems difficult to easily and comfortably get to those switches while flying......you almost have to take your gingers off your sticks to adjust those rocker switches

i agree on the 98% useless like you guys
