If you look at your settings you are at 50% throttle and 0 degrees pitch at mid-stick (there is no load on your engine except what it needs to spin the blades). Assuming you set it up so that at -4 degrees you are at the 18% on your pitch curve and at 9.5 degrees you are at 94 on your pitch curve. This is in your normal flight mode. You can as the others said adjust your pitch curve setting of 46 at mid-stick to a setting that will give 5-6 degrees of pitch so there will be a load on the engine at this point.
For idle up 1 or 2 you can use the -9,0,+9 setting which is fine but you would have to make your throttle curve 100,75,50,75,100 and adjust your low setting that you are at 18 on your pitch curve to 0 which probably is at the -9 or so you listed before (In idle 1 or 2 you will be hovering at about 3/4 stick).
Blade speed is governed by engine rpm and the lift created by the pitch the blades are at. So, on your raptor 30 if you did try to adjust your pitch to greater than +9 or less than -9, your 30 engine may not have enough raw power to be able to keep the blades spinning at an rpm high enough to keep the heli in the air. This is because the lift they are trying to produce is too much for the engine. I hope this helps. |
