I have two new kits coming, from a new production of the coaxial...

if anyone is interested, pm me.

A new auto microchip will be devoted to the mixing and landing gear
actuation for flawless performance of the retracts and Kmax
rotor mixing...

Mr. Jung actually designed the computer chip himself.

...new pics of the ka-32 kit soon....

Also, the new 3.3 meter carbon ka-50 fuselage is in the works...
pre-production orders available on a very limited basis.

WOW, how is an entirely carbon fuselage going to interface with RF?

Are you going to have an ugly antenna sticking out of the fuselage somewhere?

I wouldn't worry. The full size heli probably has many "ugly antennae" sticking out all over

Michael,

do you know if there will be also a Kamov KA-50 fuselage same size of the KA-52 (2.3 m ?).

So what mixing will the chip do ? Only for the Kmax or also useful for the KA-

Chip

Is for kmax and landing gear only, and yes, the fifty
will be made in the two point four version...

Steve, you are just jealous cuz your vintage helis do
not have all those high drag antennas like the Russian ships...

Of course, when we look

at the size and drag of those old heads, like my 212,

there is plenty of profile drag to be had...

Ok, Steve, I admit it...

I am just ENVIOUS cuz I do not have the ultimate coaxial...

the dubro 505!!!!!!!

Coax

New pics soon of completed ship, and the 12000mah ecu pack...

with emcotec dpsi and bms with esp, and a hotrod spt5h...

We will have a working cannon with scale report, flame, and smoke...

Have started the plug for the 3.3 meter fuselage.

The KA-32 pre-orders and the ka-50/52 pre-orders for the 2.4 rotor span scale fuselages are now available.

Completed Machine

12000 mah ecu battery...

I made a 12000 mah nimh battery for the ecu, as the nose needs
weight, and it balances perfectly now with no lead...

There are two 4000 longo lipo packs, nice because they have the
balancing charger jacks built in , and I use the longo balancing
charger cables with the orbit pocketlader...an excedingly nice and compact as well as sophisticated algorithms charger. The emcotec dpsi esp mini 6 and the batterymanagement readout unit rounds out the power management.
Regulated 5.6 volts, with over 30 amp current capability. This unit has unswitched outputs for running the ecu if desired as well. Dual batts for redundant and auto switching back up, and the throttle hold conditions set up will turn off the gyro, and reverse the yaw servo
for autorotations. A new single tail boom is available for those
that prefer it. I like the twin boom present mode. The old blade root is one I picked up in europe, and is convenient for pitch
adjustments. Finishing a special non-visible canopy mount, and serious flying once final control settings are done. A spare set of blades will be fully polished to match the framework.

Machines like this one are available professionally constructed and
test flown. PM me if seriously interested.

Laser tracking

Inexpensive laser, works in seconds, and with devastating
accuracy.

Perfect tracking on the first flight, and never had to touch
any of the six blades tracking adjustments.

The M blades are of superior quality.

FX-40

Had OEM custom idle up switches on left, and throttle hold
on right installed.

Now, no moving the hand at all for switching, just a proper
fingertip flick.

Mike, a couple of questions:
First, did you say "Polish up some blade to match the frames"? Sure hope they are not metal. Also I have Never had a machine were I had static tracked the blades and they were perfect in flight. You must have just got lucky!!
Second, It's my understanding that in an Autorotation with a coaxial that the gyros must be reversed because of the reverse in torque. How did you accomplish this?
Sure is looking good!

Cold Hard Metal on Metal in the Morning

To quote Kraftwerk, who will be in california tomorrow,
yes, they are quite metallic.

But I have a private flying field.

Tim, I set a condition that turns off the gyro and reverses the
servo for yaw...thanks for the accolades.

How is your secret project? Coming to the fun fly?

Very nice set-up.
What did you use to extend the servo tray : Carbon or some other material. Lots of weight clearly needed to re-balance against the weight of the SPT5-H. Will you have an issue with the new tray your build in relation to the position of the cockpit in the KA 50/52 fuse ?
Interesting you used a huge Nimh Ecu pack as opposed to a A123 battery pack.
No UAT ? are you using a header tank or just plumming in series ?
Thanks. Frederic
