Hey boys, my latest project is now complete.. This heli is very stable considering her size and her 3 blade head. Very pleased with the model. I recomend this kit to everyone. Enjoy the pics.

Very nice curves how did you paint yours? Any tips?
If you haven't seen it already, mine is at the bottom of this page (and more here).

What setup you got there?

Any chance to do forward flight?

I'm still waiting for some good weather and daylight to occur when I have some free time, then get used to the handling etc. Eventually will shoot some video...

Hi Dark Horse, the Heli flys great forward flight. I fly this heli at idle up 1. Pitch curve is linear, throttle curve for idle up 1 is set at 85%. I will soon have some inflight pics and video as well.

nyturtle,

does your a-star kit come with the blades and the multi head or is that extras? Very nice looking star you got there. Would love to see a video clip of the star flying!

cheers,

What kind of paint did you use? Did you use any primer? Mine is still in its original color white. Hate to sport a scale without a good paint job, but it's the part the model building that I never mastered.
During FFF, I noticed that it has a tendency to pitch up. I have my TP1350 all the way forward and still not able to get the cg slight forward of the mast.

Hi Heli Pic, I did primer it before I painted it, I used Testers paint with clear coat finish. All helis pitch up in FF, the blades become much more efficient in FF. If you want more elevator authority to compensate this, perhaps you should increase your throws.
