Circumgyration virgin

After trying for the last few years, I have finally been able to schedule time off for the Circumgyration. This is my first time at this event or any other RC funfly type event. As such any recommendations as to what I should bring? Chairs, food, drinks, etc.?

I hope there are some new helis. I've been going the past 4 years, and it's the same old ones EVERY year. I guess that's ok, but seems like the hobby isn't really attracting any new people.

Is their a list of events posted yet? Seems this years event isn't organized as well as previous years.

2007 Circumgyration

Glad to hear you will be coming. We will be open for
registration on Friday morning around 9:00am. There
will be open flying all day. We will have a Barbeque
lunch on friday and a roach coach will be there friday
and Saturday morning. On Saturday will have a big lunch
time barbeque and a Steak and Chicken dinner served
around 5:00pm. Soft drinks and coffee will be available
through out day. Saturday will be the scale competition.
We will have 3 to 6 full scale helis dropping in, including
a full size Huey that will be giving rides. There will be
a number of vendors with scale stuff on display. Model
Helicopter World magazine will be there as well as
Mark Ryder from Runryder. You can bring your chair, but
there will be lots of places to sit. Check our website
for nearby hotels and motels if you would like to spend
the night. See you there

Thanks for the info Dave. Unfortunately I'm new to the hobby so I don't have any working birds right now. But my kids and I are certainly looking forward to seeing all the scale ships, especially the full scale birds.

Well, I have my Vintage Luxery Coach all juiced up and ready to get my butt on down the road to Circumgyration!! Hope a few of you are going to make it!! This event has grown every year so this year ought to be awsome!! My Lovely Daughter Heather will even be there to call for me .. you can hear this girl a mile away so all my flying should be spot on!! Look forward to seeing everyone there!!
