Weather for Corpus Christi, Friday and Saturday, lows in upper 40s with highs in upper 60s, mostly clear. Sunday sunny high in mid 60s. It doesn't mention anything about the wind for those days, but on Wednesday the wind is 15 to 25 in the morning, decreasing to 15 to 20 in the afternoon. If you didn't know before, that's why Ron and Nathan or so good at Autos, that's all they do.

A couple of guys from here are going and keep asking me if I want to go. Probably should load up the trailer like we did to Fall Fest and take off Friday morning, or better yet Thursday. Suppose to be some pretty good fliers there.

Great flying and for the fligth to last 4:20 mins that's not bad at all. Do you have any access of getting an egov. That would definitely make it even more interesting. Thanks for the video again, Pinoy...

I enjoyed watching your e-stratus videos. What are the list of custom parts envolved? Are they machined by you?

the only part needed for the driect drive is the motor mount plate.
everything else is available from min air. 100T main gear, 10T pinion, adaptor for pinion. and ya have to slot two holes on the upper clutch plate.

p.s. we got the alum. flat bar and getting ready to start making parts...

Thanks! Do you have pricing setup for the plate?
I spoke with Tim at MA about the gear ratio. He feels that Actro 32-2 works best at 10.5 and was urging me to go Ion X2 route as it has more flexibility. However, you can't beat a simple plate change

If they both use Actro 32-3, then it doesn't hurt to try the simple conversion first. Do you know what the AUW is with 12s?

a little over 11 lbs.. 12s 5000 TP extremes. with 11s 3700 FP evo
it's a little over 10 lbs. either way it has plenty of grunt.
the plates should end up about 40.00 each.

also i don't want to tramp on any toes...
this was just something to be able to use a heli that was on hand.
i started out converting a tempest and after that fell through on me i traded a logo 14 for a stratus. this will work in a tempest as well just a little more trimming on the carbon clutch plate.

0864-5 10T pinion,0865-100 100T main gear, and the adaptor dosen't have a part number i just had to call min air and ask for it and tell them what size shaft 5mm or 6mm. this is for a 10:1 ratio.
a few other combinations are avalible depending on what power system
you want to run. we started off with the stock 8.18:1 ratio with a 24-5 on 11s it got a little warm around 185* F. i was told that was no problem but i wanted more power. well i got it alright.
