well almost got it ready to go..
we started with a stock nitro stratus...( thanks bobby)
then removed the nitro parts...
and installed this motor mount and pinion adaptor..
we're using the stock gearing 8.18 for now with a actro 24-5 on 11s evo's
this set up worked well in my 700 ep at 8.6 ratio so we'll see what she does.

I like it, don't be crashing it though unless you got your wallet with you.

I just saw this on RC-Groups. I think this is killer. I have a Stratus my self and would love to convert her to E-power. When you get the chance, I would love some more info on the conversion and pics of the battery and ESC mounting. As open as the Stratus is, I would imagine you have lots of options for putting different batteries in the frame.

Very nice, I like the clean install! I'm surprised at the low amp draw. Thats what my E-rappy is at on 11S and A50-12S.

That's what I'm doing in my R90. 32-3, 95T main w/9T pinion. I have a scale MD500 fuse I'm going to put on it.

Probably my 10S 4200 TPs. It's gonna be a scaler so I won't need that much headspeed. I'll end up with a 10.55 gear ratio. I'm not looking for alot of mega power just enough to fly nice with decent runtime.

What kind of durations do you think you will get with a R90 and 10S 4200 packs?

I bought one of the TT MD530 Fuse that I was going to put a nitro R50 in. I would really like to put an eRaptor in it but mine all have 120 eCCPM and the elevator servo hits the fuse at the top above where the mechanics attach to the fuse.

I figure with the gearing I'm using I should get 7-8min at least and hopefully 9-10 if I'm lucky. Since I redid my E-rap w/A50 w/30 gears I can get 10min if I don't push it hard (just hovering and flying which is all I'm after for the MD500).

Hey Chuck, its to bad your iced in after getting the new motor installed. I sure wish you would have kept this storm North of the Red River. Come Sunday night or Monday morning its will be sleeting and freezing rain here as well. No flying this weekend for sure.

I like the motor, maybe you could hover it at work to check it out.

If you want to see a disaster area, just wait until Tuesday morning in Houston when there will be a 1/2" ice accumulation on the roads. Neither I nor my employees are going to work Tuesday and probably Wednesday, you would have to be literally be insane to drive here with ice on the streets.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I'm in Minnesota, ya! Every February we get together and fly on a frozen lake(Little Coon Lake, Ham Lake MN). It's been cold and icy on and off here for a month at least now!
