| Tired of trying to learn to fly nitro helis with used and underpowered equipment, I ordered a Stinger 30. I forgot the name of the person I placed my order with (sorry), but he was very helpful, and the price was great! However, I forgot to order training gear.
I plan on going the "homemade" route to keep things on the cheap side. What kind of homemade landing would work well with the OS 37? I live at 4400ft elevation, so I'm sure it will not develop the same power as it would at a much lower elevation. Will the Stinger pick up a hula hoop with wooden dowels? Or would I need to go with carbon fiber arrow shafts/wiffle balls?
I'm just performing a sanity check and don't want to overload the heli. My Trex 450 flies great with training gear, but my Quickie 18 hovers at full throttle, and that's about it (but wait until I get my .26 car engine mounts finished
From everything I have read here, I think I'll really like my new Stinger 30. Now I just have to wait for UPS... |
