Compass Knight 50 > Knight 50 Weight and balance

Hello All,
I am a noob to this forum and to heli flying. I just finished assembling my Knight 50 and everything went together well. My question is about how much nose weight was needed to balance. It seemed like ALOT to me. The worst case, of course, is with a full tank of nitro so I loaded it up and tried balancing. I have swapped out my stock Futaba battery and replaced it with a 2200 maH pack just for the extra weight. Also added 6 oz of lead weights and CG is still aft of main shaft. Is this normal?

Thanks for your help.

Mine did not take any weight at all, but I do not balance with any
fuel, I balanced mine with the tank empty. I also have a GY601 and
GV1 control boxes up front next to the receiver.

Thank you for your reply,
My understanding is that you don't want to fly with a tail heavy bird for stability reasons. The CG of the the fuel tank on a Knight 50 is behind the centerline of the main rotor shaft. So, when I fill the tank the CG moves toward the tail. At the begining of a flight it's going to be tail heavy and the CG moves forward as you burn fuel. If you always want to have the CG ahead of the main rotor shaft then you want to START a flight with the CG dead center on the main shaft. I'm not familiar with the amount of weight it takes to do that so that's why I posted the question.
