Just returned from enjoying a Christmas in Colorado and upon entering my house we discovered that some low life had broke in and helped himself to a few items. Among those items were two helicopters. One was a Raptor 50 and the other was a Raptor 90 std, both are ready to fly but lack the transmitters. The 50 is my workhorse, but the 90 hasn't been flown. Both have similar custom paint jobs so review the pics that have posted. The 90 has all the bells and whistles with a YS 91, revmax, and 611 gyro. Both birds carry all Futaba gear and operate on Freq 52. I am asking your help in reviewing e-bay to anybody that tries to sell my birds. I will contact my LHS to alert them if the scumbags bring them in to try to sell or on consignment. So if you run across anything like the pictures below please let me know!!

Thanks for the concern guys, I do have a suspect and he his my neighbor across the street so myself and another neighbor are keeping a eye on him. My neighbor observed this jerk loading up a what appeared to be a helicopter into his car trunk, all my neighbor could see of the canopy was some green, so there is a good chance that this guy is the one. He stole both of my raptors and along with that he took two transmitters, one was a dummy used for training and the other was for my Blade CP, evidently he thought they were for the raptors, even though the transmitter for the raptors was in the other room attached to my computer. they also made off with my DVD/VCR, surround sound system, jewerly and some cash. The Insurance will cover most of it all. The worst of it is that I have to replace both front and back doors because they were ruined, about 2,000 dollars worth.

Insurance is great !! but being able to nail him would be even nicer...I would hate the thought of knowing the crook is living there. I hope you can make his life miserable !!

If you're absolutely sure it's your neighbour,go buy a bag of drugs and plant it in his house.then call the cops and tell them you observed alot of drug dealing from that house...get his ass busted!!!

That's a real low thing to do, stealing from anyone is not on but when it's the guy across the road it's even worse!! Obviously if it is him then a)he has no respect and b)he's pretty stooopid to be living so damn close to where he got them from!!

I can see Y people take the law into their own hands. It would be great to go across the road, get your stuff back, then break his legs knowing that he can't call the cops 4 help

seriously though,that's the problem with this stupid society.you go get your stuff back plus a little payback(broken legs),and you go to the clink.i certainly wouldn't wanna be a cop,i couldn't handle the fact that these losers do stuff to good people,then get a slap on the wrist from the "system".I hope you get your stuff back

Walk over to the suspected neighbor with a videotape in your hand and say..."I was broken into while i was gone.. did you see anyone around my house?" his reply will be of course "no" wave the tape around and say "well thats ok because i have it all on this tape here and will be giving it to the police" watch for any change in his reaction. works most of the time!
one time my guitar was ripped off out of the bar i was playing in, i showed up with a gieger counter in my hand and loudly announced for everyone in the bar to hear... my bass is radioactive! they can paint it, they can change the numbers but!!!it won't deceive the gieger counter!!! it was returned that same day!!! true story!! ken

if it were me and i suspected it was my neighbor i would do the foloowing.
First rememeber you only have a few day window before he either sells it or crashes it so responce must be timely.
2nd watch him - you've done that & supicion was rasied.
3 move in- wait until he goes to work and go kick his door in or go through a window
4 at night go through his car and look for any signs of your stuff being there- aka remote for dvd - tc or what ever, helicpter canppy paint chips- or if you look close enough helicopter tracks inthe trunk carpet (form the skids as he drove with it moving in the trunk)

step 3 &4 can be rotated

OK so now your saying if i bust in his house how do i keep from getting busted for B & E
thats the easiest part be sure you take picture or find pictures of your stuff in your house/ garage or where ever- the n stick something that wasn't stolen in your pocket. glow driver, starter for heli - yo get the point. Next you go next door and "find" it in his house and take pics of it there with a a camera that has the date or some way to prove the time date - turn on the WX tv guide channel or and take a pic (time and date always on them).
if you find your stuff just call the cops and have them come right away and say the door as open and you went to borrow sugar or something.
if you find nothing but your sure he did it you got the pics of your item/s there. - again went for sugar.

most importantly you need an mp3 player playing mission impossible music while you do this - ok it just helps set the mode...
