Are the gyroscopic forces produced by a turbine big enough to prevent fully blown 3D?

Is this along with slow throttle response the only limiting factors?

For the first problem, how about two turbines spinning in opposite directions to cancel out their torques? Plus they can back each other up.

Which leads to this question, has their ever been a twin built & flown?

There are loads of twin turbine planes around so I don't see why a heli would be out of the question....
