| Yes it is normal, when spooled up the centrifugal force sorts out the blades and grips. I find that when new the plastic yoke binds on the blade grips causing a sticky pitch slider to feel grippy or notchy action. So I carefully bend the yoke arm square and free up the little pin holes a little but when new the tail blades appear to sit in. Make sure the yoke is screwed on the brass pitch slider sleeve square or it will cause bad tail rotor tracking. If the thread is out of true, I dismantle to off the heli stand alone the yoke and brass slider, applying gentle heat to the slider from a soldering iron to melt the yoke and square the thread. |
