Hey Jan....

I would own up to it...but I haven't removed the blades after your rebuild.

But, you may be on to some new delayed stall effect...for improved T/R effectiveness. It flew great that way...lol

Switched to Xtremelink .....

Hi Guys,

For anyone interested, here are some pictures of the XtremeLink I switched over to. The module pops in the back of transmitter, take the old rec with long antenna out, add the Xtremelink rec with the stubby antenna, allowing about a 2" distance for the small antenna to be clear of wires etc. I decided to put the battery on the bottom of the tray...it could go on top as well if you get creative. Do a 'one time' bind...like you do with the spectrum radios...then you're all set!

I'm off today, heading out to the club, just 15 min drive. A bit warm this afternon 82, wish it would cool down to 70's....lol

Later,

Michael

Trex 600 Nitro

Hi guys,

I just finished setting up the GV1 and GY611 on this hot lil 50. This is my first CCPM bird, was interesting getting the servos to all move together on a 120 swash setup. I still need to secure wires, batt, gyro, GV1 and Gyro...with foam, fuel pressure line etc. The kit seemed well engineered, it's a tight bird. Is my first 50m size heli, looks like it will perform well!

Stay warm and happy holidays....

Michael

Today at the club, with my 2 yr old nephew .....

My brother and his son came out to join me at Bay City Flyers club today. Was 77 with a breeze of about 10mph NW. I saw a neat plastic Raptor canopy, made to look like a jet...cool! Would have stayed longer at the club today, but need to clean op my mess/tools, from my Trex 600N assembly..before I pick up my mother today at the airport.
