Please have a look at this setup - a Minicopter Maxi Joker 2 + a modified RemoteI Ri-250 two axis self-levelling camera mount. I have modified the mount a LOT and also I`ve cut the lower frames of the Joker and cut 5 mm aluminum CNC skids for desired height.
I`ve also cut out a custom battery mount (wider and longer) and moved it farther back as seen in the picture to meet the correct COG. But I`ve also decided to cut even more of the lower frames so the camera mount moves closer to the motor and pan control passes below the pinion.
As you can see, I`ve fastened the camera mount using 2 CF tubes that are attached to the lower frames near the motor and to the higher frames at the back. If the vibration won`t cause problems I`ll remove the rubber dampeners and attach the tubes rigidly to the frames.
