They will work. They are both Futaba.
But I agree with , trade down Gyros. The 601 is great for 3D stuff, but the T6EXHP is a starter radio. Six channels is the minimum. You'll need at least 7 channels if you stay in the sport, and decide to go with a governor. And you'll need more channels if you go scale, retracts and what not. The bigger radios are easier to program, have more screen space, and more features, such as swash types.
I started off with the 7CHP and now have a JR9303. don't get me wrong, the 7CHP is a good radio, but... I love the graphs, and all of the features are listed on the screen, no more scrolling to find the gyro function. Plus, I got the synth mod. I don't have to worry about someone being on my channel.
Summary, put down the 601, get a 401. and a bigger radio. You wont regret it. |
