Oooooo... You're making a dangerous assumption that number of posts here = knowledge and experience. I don't know that it is a true statement. There's a lot of keyboard jockeys out there/in here without real experience. Also, Mike would be an Elite or Key veteran if he had kept the same user name from the beginning. He's been around a while, as well.

Well all I can say is I like my Gohbee and really appreciate all that Dave at Gohbee has done for me. With that being said I cant think of a time weres any of my TTs' has let me down either. As again I like all my helis, and if there ever be an issue that should arrise with any of my TT's then I would be sure to look up a rep for help. Let alone all the help here on RR. But for the most my issues are never with any given heli I have its always setup of the lectrics where I screw up at. Been trying out different gyros and just come to terms to stick with the GY401 or 501 which would make my life alittle easier and less of a headache with my helis. Again I like my TTs' but being a long time Hirobo pilot I am not a fan of the TT head. Main reason I am ordering a Kasama head for my Xero G.

Like something besides a Raptor?

Seriously though, I'm in complete agreement. Buy a heli that has the components you want, don't buy one and go out and drop half of the original cost on an aftermarket head. No one on here can outfly the stock head, it's just wasting money. A metal block for the stock head for a fraction of the cost of the Kasama, sure, but not a whole head.

Someone on here wrote a while back (I think it was A. Bundy) the best quote ever:

You spend $200 on bling to make your heli look good, I spend $200 on fuel and make any heli look good.

That's the truest statement ever.

After reading many or your posts in the past where the raptor is concerned and then reading the your long post in this thread I feel I have to commend you on a very decent post.

Awww, do you take my not liking Ace posts personally? So sad to think that I may have offended the Raptor faithful.

Gee that was quick.Offended? Heck no.I don't get into the mine's better than your's debate with anything.I'm here because I enjoy heli's,and the loopy people that fly them. Why do you keep saying that Ace's service sucks over and over, and not talk about specific examples? It's confusing

Yeah, you happened to reply right before I got to this thread, and then again while I was sitting in front of the computer. There have been plenty of specific examples cited in my posts over the years, I'm not going into it again, I'm trying not to antagonize the reps in the room. I've been very careful not to bring it into this thread. If you want examples, there's a handy button up at the top of every page labeled "search".

No, not for me!

The reason I say this is that I have had personal experience with this product. I've flown it and tested it and have to say it is a poor copy of the original it infringes on.

As for service, we are more than a helicopter vendor. We distribute all kinds of products. And given this scope of audience, deal with a lot more people than other vendors mentioned here in of all places the Thunder Tiger RAPTOR FORUM. I guess it's good to talk in a crowded room, that way you know you're not talking to yourself.

We try to help each individual on a case-by-case basis. So if you need assistance, you need to call in to Customer Service.

Or drop us an email with your question(s). Bottom line is service can only be rendered if you initiate the call, if you don't ask you'll never know.

Best Regards,
Jeff

Yes you may be right on the head, but one ponders why would I want to run a plastic head on such a fine chasis? Would be in comparision to taking a Fury Extreem or Stratus and plopping a platic head on it. That is just wrong... But ergo, yes I will try it with the stock head before I decided to place my order for the Kasama or G-Force. Yes I watched the vid.. But I would like to see that same heli, same head with about 40-50 hard flights on it. Like the vid says new right from the box. So I would assume its all new. Also if its so great then why does Jerry seem to insinuate his upgrade to a metal head block in his posts further down? Not fussing just my ponders..

Hey maybe I will stick a Gohbee head on it and find out what the G in Xero G really stands for.. Xero Gohbee

What is this support you are talking about?

Do you mean if you cant figure out whats making your Gohbee fly like crap you call Gohbee. So if there is a problem with your car do you call the manufacturer, distributer?

I hate to pick on the gohbee but its just not as good as people claim. The metal parts look like whats left over after you get the good aluminum out of the refining process. The plastic is soft. Nut holes, main gears strip....

I said to the rep that I like the G10 fins but they have Gohbee on them so I may just get some and demel "sucks" after and he got offended and went on about how much cheaper it cost than a raptor. Okay, how about the fact that your clutch liner came flying out in flight? How about when your main gear stripped on your 50 in flight then you went to fly the 30 and the main gear stripped on a 30... If either of those lead to a crash the repair cost closes that gap in cost.

Gohbee is to Raptor and Hirobo what Wakera is to T-Rex and every thing else they clone. Would you buy one of those to save a few buck?

HEY 50, Did any of those striped gears result in a crash??? Like I told Dave, "soon as them gears come in get me one so I can get that "rappy gear" outta my bird!" But , neither here nor there the rappy gear has been gettin' me through. I happen to know for a fact that MY Gohbee flys better than YOUR Rappy!!! Hey how about when yours stipped the elevator arm out of the ball link??And what TT has never had any QA issues , head blocks, blah, blah ,Somebody throwin' stones in the glass house? . 50ft you buy a stinger , fly it, compare it , dont just rebuild your rappy with Gohbee parts. AND , as for Mr. Fortin you ever flown one? No ? Well go back to the TT forum with your .02!! Thats about all its worth, has Gohbee peeps ever gone over there and talked trash just to talk trash?? Dude your parts come from the same dang place -----CHINA!!!!

You know I rep for the company because I believe in their product and what place it takes in the market . Dave wants people to get into the hobby , he keeps prices down for kits and crashes, AND hes just a nice guy! So I guess thats the customer support hes talking about.

Hey Bill, this thread started in the Raptor Forum, it was just moved here today. I'd say that's why Mike is replying to it. He (and everyone else) got subscribed to the thread when it was in the Raptor forum,a nd the sub doesn't change just because the forum does.

Don't worry, the forum will become a ghost town soon enough, no need to try to run guys off.

The thing about the parts being made in china....

That may be true but what does that have to do with the cost of a dozen eggs? If the Stinger was made in the good ol USA and still had the same traits it would still stink just as bad.
