| I'm no expert but followed advice in this forum (thanks Ralph W and others). I'm now using:-
Hacker C40-8L
Castle Creation 45amp ESC
Std 15 pinion
Stretched Boom
JP 470 blades
10 cell 4300mah nimh
Giving 9/10 minutes circuit flying
For a Hacker 40-8L try http://www.westlondonmodels.com. Any decent 45 amp ESC will do.
I'm afraid with your current 8.4v packs the only time you're likely to see daylight under the skids is when you're carrying the thing!!
You need 10 cells to give it a fighting chance or 11.1v Lipos 4000+ mah
