Anyone know what size tail shaft it runs in the tailcase?
Looks like I could drop on of those on my QJ8 SP and have a heavier duty tail

4mm tailshaft.

Though I doubt that the Lepton needs a heavyduty tail

Well the QJ8 tailshaft is 4mm already, but there have been shaft failures at high rpm, like over 2600, so really I hope that shaft is actually 5mm like the QJ EX which has beefier shafts all round.
Will be interesting to see how this new stuff holds up.

Looks like its 5mm in the pic, but we'll only know when someone gets one I guess.

There is one on e-bay for 499.00 I wish I had the money to try it but seems a little pricy for something with little parts availability. Check it out from xmseller.

$429 for kit + brushless motor + blades, let's say the blades are $50-60 and the motor is 50-60 bucks. what does that make the kit $300-330? that's a lot? for a 500sized heli? I don't think so!
