The tail looks like a pretty close copy. Hard to tell from the brief frame shot but the full heli shown after is not the HDX500. For the estimated price of $400-$450 I would spend the extra $75-$100 and get the actual Hirobo version.

they look for like MicroHeli tail system for trex. It doesn't look like lepton at all. I sent them email and they said the price is under 400usd for fully cnc tail, head and carbon fiber frame. That is much cheaper than the normal lepton that has no full cnc, only plastic. They said the parts are likely about 3 times cheaper than stock lepton parts. let's see

No offense but do you know anything about a Lepton? It is also a full CNC carbon heli. Very little plastic.

100% happy with current Lepton frame and head, maybe the cnc tail could be interesting ? And carbon boom ...

Looks nice, though I guess the biggest and best improvement for the Lepton tail is getting some other blades than the stock plastic ones.

I don't know to me the tail looks like cast metal.
It could be powder coat.

actually that's right, no way proven that this is working better than stock one, just I feel it looks nice. Anyway I don't feel the need to replace the stock one, but rather I'd look for a carbon tail boom - and yes, the bigger carbon blades as well as carbon tail fin comes first ... this is the real must.

Please do so! I'd love to see how you like it. Do you own a Lepton for comparison? Would be nice to see a side by side comparison!

Damn lepton parts are so cheap now, 4.99 for a main shaft 8.99 for a main gear, 3.99 for a boom. I wish i didnt sell mine.
