Hi all,

for those of you who fly in cold climates, Mike and Belinda... just stop reading now

Do the rest of you fly with gloves? Does anyone use a radio mitt? Any links to decent equipment?

thanks,
Leslie

this is the one i have. it works pretty good. you would have to put an eyebolt through the plastic so you can attach a neck strap; or else the plastic will rest on your thumbs, which isn't good.
there are cheaper ones out there too.

I found that its easier to wear gloves. I wear them till its time to lift off then take off. If my finger tips cannot stand to be exposed for the duration of the flight, than its too freaking cold to be out there anyway! But usually its not, we fly year round here in Pa and its really never to the point where its not enjoyable. A buddy of mine used a mitt last season and found it to be a bit cumbersome and sometimes needed the assistance of a fellow pilot. But on the other hand some pilots swear by em. I guess if there fairly easy to get in and out of, then I would give it a try.
