Hello all,

Just activated my gallery and wanted to share some pic's with you all. There are a few pictures of me and my Freya New Style in my gallery.

Check out my Fur(r)y style winter flying hat and the temp. on my cars dashboard..boy it was a bit cold on that winter flying day

..and one off topic pic, but it's just for those who are wondering how we manage to drive on the icy roads around here. Btw, my flying field is actually frozen sea. You just drive your car on the sea and start flying, simple isn't it?..infinite flying field til summer

Cheers

Hi Jarno!
Really nice pics, clear blue sky and sun. And 20 below freezeing
Nice looking canopy too!

It looks like your NOT using "Hakkapelitta" tires? Tell me that you dont have a Nokia phone and dont drinks Koff IV B or Lapin Kulta and I starts to doubt you are from Finland

How´s your gyro working during such extreme cold?
Havent got my thumbs out of .... and started mine yet

You can blame Alex (FuturaRC) for that one It's from RCmarket.

Hi Jarno,

Only two below over here today, two of us have been out flying, I got a couple of good flights in with the Raptor and my friend had three with his X Cell. Then we went to an indoor meet and flew his Hornet, what a handful that is!

Nice to get a few flights in, though, and in December!

Hi Dave,

It's been pretty nice weather here too. Unfortunately i didn't have time to fly..I visited a friend in Pori and drove a car over 1100 km during weekend

Yup, Hornet is a fine piece of heli! It's really fun to fly..wish i had one

Hope i get some flying next weekend.

Not sure I'd agree...it was a real handful to fly, and it seems that to set one up to really fly nicely it would cost as much as a decent 50 size, but still be tiny & twitchey. I'm afraid I wasn't convinced, especially as I flew it 20 mins or so after the Raptor.

Fun to fly someone elses form time to time, though!

Sorry i wasn't accurate enough,

I really meant that the laugh factor of it is really awesome (usually laugh means fun too): You really cannot fly it without laughing yourself to death It shakes, spins, twitches, rattles, mixes it's own air and makes some turbulence which ruins it's flying etc. I mean it's so much fun to watch and that's why i wished i had one

Otherwise, it really hasn't anything to do with fine flying. Perhaps it's better not to get one, because you may live forever because of infinite laugh

Noodles

No doubts anymore, I do like Lapin Kulta and Koff a lot

What comes to gyro it's been working very well even at extreme cold. But to be honest, it's insane to fly on that cold! Me and my buddies just wanted to try it Yes, we did drink some strong Koff B:s afterwards to get warm again.

And take your thumbs out of your ar#%..and go flying your awesome Freya. It's fun
