I don't want to start a bashing thread here but I honestly wouldn't suggest dealing with Joe (Mr. Carbon) of mscomposit-usa (not mscompositusa). He's never ripped me off by any means but I don't think he offers any better deals or ever a deal for that matter.

I choose my vendors for efficiency and support. I do look for a fair deal of course but customer support should be priority! What really turned me was Joe's correspondence. It was inexcusable! How can you not respond to e-mails or phone messages unless you are choosing not to?? Come on! I'm far too busy to keep track of vendors that are supposed to be keeping track of me when in need! There isn't any excuse for it other than poor business.

Jake, I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations.

My experience with Joe has not been so great. I've ordered things and made requests about order changes through email and he's left things out after I get a response saying he will add them. There are substitutions made for parts not in stock without notifying you first through email or phone. My last order with mscomposit-usa (mr carbon) charged me for shipping when the website specifies orders over 100.00 will be shipped for free. I've emailed them about a refund and got no response, so I'll just drop the 7.00 shipping charge and rather not do business with them anymore. I figured it would be cheaper and faster because they are few hours drive in California, but I may order from the Indiana location now if I need parts.

I also do not want to start a bashing thread. Please leave positive comments if you have them. The point behind starting this thread is to help other flyers be able to FLY, not screw around with another difficult vendor. We all have chosen this hobby for different reasons. The one underlying thread we all have in common is the joy of flying. If this thread allows one new person to learn from my problem and not become frustrated, then that’s something I think we all can appreciate.

I must say my experience with MS composit (Henry) in Indiana is just positive. He made also a mistake but I just challenged the issue and he returned back to me immediately with a help and solution !!!!
I must say I do avoid MS Composit (MR carbon) as I can fully rely to the service from Henry www.mscompositusa.com.
Now Henry carries even the AXI motors along with JETI electronic, the best quality products. I am delighted by a good price he offers.
My decision is crystal clear I do buy just from henry this is a guarantee I am going to be treated well.

I have ordered once through Joe. During enquiries he replied emails within hours. Once the items were shipped out, I emailed him regarding the tracking number but had no reply for a few days. The goods arrived and i realised that he had forgotten to ship some stuff. I emailed him twice and finally got a response.

Initially I was frustrated with the unresponsive emails. But he did say that he is out of town and I believe he is. Because once he got back, he replied the emails quickly and had my missing stuff sorted out in no time, apologised and even offered extras for his mistake in shipping. I was a happy customer to say the least

As for Razmo's comments on him not giving any good deals, my experiences were the opposite. He had the free wood blades offer on his X3D kits and he also offered me a killer deal on 2 MS Metal hub and grips set for a killer price!

So all in all, Joe is pretty good so far for me

Let me just respond to these threads directly. We represented MS COmposit Products here in the USA for over 6 years. Most of those years we were the designated "exclusive" distributor and had many many dealers and clients who were happy with the products and the Service we provided.

Due to several changes in the market and our lives, we had to return to a full time job and do this business part time only. We also had an exclusive 5 year contract with the manufacturer which they cancelled and then decided to open their own facility here in the US. I just bummped into this thread and I thought that I would pitch in my two cents. Well, here it goes: I have dealt with Joe Ginski, AKA Mr. Carbon in the past. And all I have to say is that he is a GREAT MS dealer. I got my first x3d through him at a very low price. He did not only send me the kit but he also sent me extra blades and main gears. Also, when my alluminum swash came apart, all I did was sent him and e-mail and a few days later, I had another NEW swash in the mail! He did not even required me to send him the old one back. Another time, I ran out of main shafts, so I just dropped him and e-mail and whithin days, an extra shaft was mailed to me - I paid him about a week later. I know Joe to some degree and I can assure anyone that the guy means well -he is not the kind who would bilk you out of your hard-earned money. One just has to be patient, and he will come through with you. Sometimes, patience has its rewards. In the meantime, I'll continue doing bussiness with him.

Well, that's my 2 cents.

Just an upadate regarding the 2 pairs of blades that Joe intially forgot to ship out with my kits. They came yesterday and I was pleased with what he sent me.

In the email he did mention that I would be happy with what he has sent out to make up for his mistakes. And indeed I was. He sent me an extra pair of woodies and a pair of MS CF hornet tail blades too!

I am with JJgonzo in that you have to be patient since Joe has explained that he is running a one-man show.
