HAVE YOU SEEN THIS LOST PLANE? FUNTANA S90.

LOST AT LAKE MEAD IN BOULDER CITY ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON OCTOBER 8TH ABOUT 1PM JUST AFTER POWER BOAT RACES. LOST RADIO SIGNAL TO PLANE THAT SPIRALED UP TO 3-4000’. PLANE WENT NORTH & LANDED NEAR THE TOLL BOOTHS ½ MILE AWAY AND WAS SEEN BY TOLL BOOTH STAFF HEADING BACK SOUTH TOWARDS THE LAKE 50-100 YDS. SOMEONE MUST HAVE PICKED IT UP AND NOT TURNED IT IN SHORTLY AFTER IT LANDED NEAR THE ROAD. I MUST ASSUME IT IS STOLEN. PERSON RESPONSIBLE MAY TRY TO SELL WHOLE OR BREAK IT UP. I SEARCHED FOR THE PLANE USING CHARTERED HELI ON TUES 10TH SO I KNOW IT HAS BEEN REMOVED, NOT BY PARK STAFF….

PLANE IS YELLOW AND MARKED AS ABOVE. UNDER FUSELAGE I USED MAROON COLORED COVERING FROM LANDING GEAR TO HALF WAY DOWN THE FUSELAGE FROM A CRASH LANDING REPAIR. INSIDE PLANE, UNDER FUEL TANK YOU’LL SEE YELLOW WALL FOAM USED TO STRENGTHEN THE LANDING GEAR AREA. TAIL WHEEL IS RE-MOUNTED UNDER RUDDER. RUDDER ON RHS BOTTOM HAS A HOLE IN THE COVERING AND IT’S COVERED BY CLEAR TAPE. BOTTOM OF RUDDER HAS A PIECE OF BLACK FLAT CARBON FIBRE ROD EXPOXIED FOR ADDED PROTECTION.

Colorado huh? Gas prices exclude me from flying that far but just incase the thermals did their job.... make sure it doesn't hit you the head on the way down! May mistake the shine from your bald spot as a runway!

hahahah, ive personally had a 300s get stuf at full throttle at aslight climb angle, i suppose it caught the thermals but it ended up flyin here in wheatridge all the way into the city, which is about a 45 minute drive

p.s i dont have a bald spot -_- im 16

That seems a stretch 45 minutes into the city! How did you relocate it? (no reply needed). The bald spot was a joke, no offense...

I saw mine come down about 1/2 a mile away but someone made off with it when we were looking in the wrong spot! What can you do????

umm, tell all your local hobby stores, pawn shops and flying field personel and give them your phone number.

And to answer the how did i locate it, i keep my first and last name on my aircraft and stuff, they did a search and called me up
