I have a stinger Gohbee 50 and it wants to yo-yo all the time.

Has anyone else had this issue?

no, but I was told today that I needed to grease the dampners with a clear silicon grease for that very reason.

Where did you come up with the clear silicon grease for the dampners?

I dont see how the dampners would effect the pitch. Would it be more like slack in the system?

You can get it at an auto parts store. Ask for silicone dielectric grease it is used to waterproof connectors.

you should grease the dampers in the head, not sure that will cause a Yo Yo effect but it can cause a wobble or slow cyclcs and blade tracking issues, something could also be binding or a bad servo, check to see if the paddles are inline as well.

If you mean with yo-yo that it will not go up and down smoothly but with jumps you may want to check if the thrust bearings in the main blade grips are installed the right way ( large internal diameter race toward the head-block I think but you may want to verify that )

What I am talking about is:

You can be in a stable hover with no wind and all of a sudden the heli just looses altitude for no apparent reason. Then you give it throttle/collective to get back in the same attitude stable hover then it happens again. This is what is called the yo-yo affect.

Once in a hover on a calm day it should stay their until a gust of wind changes things.
