Women Pilots > My girlfriend loves the smell of Nitro

My new girlfriend is very supportive of this hobby and my helis. Yesterday she pointed out that she loves the smell of the nitro. I think she is definitely a keeper. . She doesn't show interest in flying one but loves to see them fly whilst smelling the nitro. Is this the only known case? LOL.

How high do they go? Are those things hard too fly? How much do they cost?

Invest in several cases of fuel, and reorder whenever you get to the last case

...'is this the only known case'. Case (meaning- instance or occurence) referring to women enjoying the smell of nitro, not cases of nitro.

No, this is not that unusual. You should invest in some "spare" fuel so that you NEVER run out

I love the smell of the nitro also, I guess thats why I'm with MikeInMobile. And who knows she just may get interested in wanting to fly just not watching. It happened with me.

Yeah...she is very girly girl. She doesn't like to get dirty at all, which is cool. It's very neat to have her take interest and to be with me while flying. If she does decide, I will be right there with a big grin on my face.

Hey I know all about the girly girl, I get my nails done twice a month and my hair done twice a month, so I'm the same way, but they have windex wipes or wet ones that take care of the dirt, I use them to clean my helis when I finish flying for the day. If she continues to go with you when you fly, it shouldn't take long before her interest is peaked further, just remember be gentle with her and tell her its okay we all at so point crash, it can be fixed that her safety is more important than the helis.

Hey PilotError...maybe I'm providing too much information. But, when I work my copters,or my car and if she smells gas, silicone spray, brake cleaner or anything like that...she acts as though it is cologne. I guess it's a scorpion thing. BTW, it's well beyond the date stage, so no worries there. She is GOD scent...I tell you what.

...Nah...I was lucky in that regards. Eventhough were aren't together anymore (had nothing to do with my hobby), she was supportive.

Hey Raptor Ken..

You want her number? Just kidding... Believe me, she had more issues and than a wrecked heli with engine, gyro and digital servo issues.
