There aren't all that many problems with the Synergy. The problems encountered so far have been mainly manufacturing / packaging issues.

They have been correcting the issues and have been giving the first customers free updated parts. Can't beat that.

The gears striping has been because of installation errors not quality control.

No need for V2...

Wenning,

There is no need for a version 2. All of the problems asscoiated with the N9 have been manufacturing or packaging issues that have been addressed by Todd and Jason. They are diligently working to take care of everyone that purchased an N9 and had issues or concerns. The kit builds easily and it flys like a dream. Future production runs should be problem free.

Hope this helps,

Big D.

The gears striping has been because of installation errors not quality control. In my case, I incorrectly installed the bevel gear causing damage to the crown gear.

Scooterpilot, werent you the one that Jason helped out with that? I did just read a thing from JK about gyro settings on the 601 and 611. Apparently if you are really banging from full left to right rudder with the gyro set to an abrupt stop it will strip the bevel gear. He put the settings up for Chuckie and it's nothing that you can even tell but it will prevent it. Now I don't know who is doing that kind of inputs to get that to happen but it would be neat to watch.

Neat to watch as long as it's not your Synergy! Those crown gears are not cheap at all!!

wenning,

Get the kit now and read through RR Synergy posts for building suggestions. Ask your questions here and we'll help you build her right.

You'll completely forget your other machines after flying the N9, yes its that good. I've sold both my other nitro machines and will soon get a second N9.
