i plan to cut a circle to support my blades. i figured id drill it for 2,3 or 4 blades incase i wantto se how different it will fly. i will have a different plastic adapter for the top of he blades to mount into.
the mast sahft is bolted into my head but i will either try a brass bushing or set a bearing on the head unit to let the blades turn freely.
i gave it pitch and roll plus elevator nd rudder.
might have to many inputs but 8 channels to use on the radio so why not?

OK...the question is out of all these photos....what are you using for the gyro? Is the stick fuselage your current gyro?

You need to make the rotors as light as you can. You may want to think about making your rotors using a balsa stick and gluing a flat bottom of foam to it. Then glue your top pc so it forms the Clark Y profile. Did you ever see the spad gyro a guy built a couple years ago? Just use foam instead of the corogated plastic.

The heavier the blades...the more stress will be put on that lite air frame.

thanks for he tip but i need to ask...
how much wieght would i need to add to the tips of foam blades?
if i go that route should i make the blades wider and should only use 1 skinny piece of balsa for the top of the wing?

got the engine and gear box on it this morning. big 10x4.7 prop
hoping to get the time to mount the servos but just got 2 t-rex to set up for friends and still need to put my tranny back in- (clutch job)
thanks again for your help.
oh yeh i got some dowls also just in case i wanted more shape on the wing

I would stay with the three blades style. That is just my person choice. I would go with 1.5" wide blades. How long will the blades be again? 12"? That with the rotor plate should give you around 26" diameter. Go to www.autogyro.com and find the calculations for rotor diameter vs. weight. Your gyro is going to be really lite!!!! It float really well!
