If everyone here know I am a completely unbiased person. Yes I do prefer Evo's over Rappy's. But thats just personal opinion, as I still really like my Rappy. As everyone here has read or glanced over this topic before I had the few issues with the Gohbee parts I bought to rebuild my downed Rappy with. David with Gohbee was infact a great guy to deal with and has set me right in my issues. I really hate to bash a company the way I did and for the most was in the wrong for doing so. But we all get flamed everynow and again when the items we order dont go as well as they should have. And thus my appologies to Gohbee.

I am just another somebody with a love for the hobby. I dont know much about Gohbee helis, but I am sure with a Rep like David and his devotion to Gohbee it has to be a great company. Just want to say Thanks David for making things right.

I will let this topic go for a day to clear the air so to speak then close it out.

You must have gotten the 4mm flybar as Ive gotten the regular 3mm flybars recently and no problems as they are the same as raptor. the main blade bolts on my setup is same as original V1 head.

That sucks to hear about the frames, as i had contemplated changing my V1 frame for a Gohbee one. So far, i have only noticed a slight difference in the 50 tail boom and fit of the landing gear that ive added to my 50 and 90 (landing gear only). Ive used 2 main gears from gohbee with no problems, and the latest one is even grey. I am using the 50 tail rotor setup, and no issues there as of yet...

Im sure David will work with you.

Thanks for all of the info. I have bean watching Gohbee a lot and finally got one of there helis. I was wandering how compatible they would be with Raptors.

I sincerly hope everyone else has or had good parts tranfers from Gohbee to Rappy, and that maybe I am just the bad pick of the litter.

You are not saving money substituting other brand parts. Stick to the original parts for easy maintenance and repair.

I just saw a Gohbee over the weekend. A friend was flying it and is trying to distribute it over here in Canada (www.northernheli.com). It's pretty sad here in Canada when i t comes to alternative heli options... let alone parts. Even with the Evo, no matter how much rave there is for it, parts support is horrible (1-2 weeks when I inquired a lhs as a determining factor for an evo purchase). Let's not talk about price for whatever is available, that's another infuriating story.

DSS, it seemed to me that what you did was like buying Ark X400 parts for your Trex... isn't it usually the other way around?

Stingercrazy, the topic of why Gohbee does not have thier own board has been addressed here already on RR. Gohbee is up and coming but just not big enough yet to give them thier own much need space. Course I for one would much like to have it as it would be nice to converse back and forth between them and the Rappy board.

OMG!!!! I have never ever ever ever ever been treated with such kindness as I have through David with Gohbee, well sep when I was sponsored by Anchorage Suzuki to race, but that was different. David has made my Gohbee mishap into a now Gohbee believer!! His customer service is barr-none the best I have ever recieved from any r/c dealer and or hobby shop. I am still in shock as to what he just sent me. Again many thanks David. All I can say is for a company to deliver this high of service to any given customer, is just outstanding.

Gohbee service...

has been great. David is on the ball. Haven't had one problem out of all the parts I've ordered. I even ordered a set of the 550 woodies to see just how they stack up to the other 550 woodies out there and they are perfect. I know now when I need cheap good woodies, Gohbee's are the ones I'll go with. Even though I haven't bought a Stinger yet, I may still at some time. Seems with the Stingers age and David's persistence they are getting better all the time. A new flying season is coming and a new 50 sized heli maybe in the works...
