Oh crap! I think I may have read this post a little late. I hope they have one left in stock at tammies. I guess I'll have to give them a call tomorow to see if they have one left. I know things happen and all but I'm getting a little impatient myself as I watch the other guys in my club fly their Synergys and mine is stuck in customs for a month.

Well maybe a month was a little more than it has really been in customs but I just ran the tracking info 10 seconds ago and here is what came up....

According to this, they arrived in customs on the 6th and are still there right now. So it has been about 2 and a half weeks since they arrived in the U.S. and it has been 3 weeks and change since they day they were supposed to ship to us. So yes a month was a little over the top but it feels like it has been even longer than that. I guess you and me are both stuck waiting some more during this prime flying season to get our kits

Guys,
We are so sorry for the delay. This is by far the worst case i have ever seen getting these kits released. We have two customs brokers working on this issue now. We were told by customs that they were going to be released last week. We are doing all we can but they are not the fastest moving people in the world.

From the sounds of it, the ones stuck in customs aren't the only ones that are coming into the country... Tammies had to get their kits from somewhere.

I'm sure the guys at Ricks will be distributing every kit that they receive in the order indicated on their list. If the ones held up in customs are stuck there for a year it won't matter much. You'll get a kit when your number is up.

I called and cancelled my bacorder today from Rick's. I was able to get one from Tammie's Hobby. I kinda feel bad for doing that to Rick's, but I am running a little short on time before I deploy back to Iraq and I wanted to fly before I leave. I don't like doing that to good people like Rick's.

Graig at Tammie's did sound like a good person to do business with also! E-mailed my tracking number right away and I should have the kit by next week.

I just called Tammies and they said that there is a list there with a couple of people on it and they will not be getting any more kits for 2-3 weeks. I guess I just have to wait a little longer and hope Rick's gets their kits before then. I'm almost to the point where if the kits aren't here in the next few weeks I'm just gonna get a Aurora or something
