Without trust and communication in any relationship there can and most always will be suspicions going through our minds. The topic had two seperate questions and I answered them honestly from a womans point of view, being a woman I can honestly say that the worst thing always pops in mind first. But if you have trust and communication there wouldn't be that problem. And I do have a very good relationship, we both have close friends of the opposite sex and we neither one have a problem with it because we trust each other and communicate about everything.

I remember years ago one of our buddies use to bring his girlfriend to watch him fly ( she was hot ) and the rest of us guys were so distracked by her not much got done at the field those days. Now if I had a female to work on Heli's with there is no way I could do it she would have to weigh a 1000 lbs for me to concentrate on the heli
the testarone would nuge me in tha back of my head. No women friends here.

It has been quite a long time since I originally posted this thread. I've been told that the women who found the email about her husband secretly meeting someone is getting a divorce. Sort of...

Since there are children involved she has to play 2 sides of the fence. The husband by the ways was told to move out - he lives with his parents now. She is going thru the motions of getting the divorce, but when pressed for money she is nice to her husband. Sometimes it is sickening because she'll even give into having sex with him. It was discovered later that he has had at least 12 other lovers in their 10 years of marriage, he says that he feels guilty for that AND believe it or not he says to her that he was driven to do so because she (the wife) didn't serve his needs. What gets even more infuriating is he goes back to the wife telling her that the others can't give him as good a B.J. her! Why is she still with him!!!! It boils down to the children, with 3 young ones and no family financial or moral support she has to stoop down to do what it takes to keep 'her' (he doesn't even watch them the few times he allows her to leave the kids with him) kids provided for. The mom even tells her, "oh, it is ok I put up with it with your dad, but he always comes back to me"
Alright it is time to throw-up!

He still sees others on the side, but when he saw her talking to some dads at their son's karate practice, he blew his top and yelled at her, calling her a whore.

I feel bad for her and the kids and she makes mad as hell that she still puts up with his crap. She has said that her self-esteem is really low dispite her very tough, don't give me attitude exterior.

She is terribly motivated to start and finish school and become a professional. This inspires me because she does this in the midst of her husband saying,"you'll never finish this course & you're not that smart", her parents not supporting her, her taking the kids to 2 different schools, paying the bills, and caring for her kids.

It would sure be nice when this women gets out of this hellish nightmare of a marriage.

Anyways that is part of the story of one who just says "we're just good friends"

That sounded like all the old stupified stroies MEN have have been told since the begin of time. I'ts even written in the law. My man you really have it twisted, let me explain FIRST women are not loyal to men in their MINDS ok,, see most men only see a woman Via the flesh what they don't know is the mind and the flesh is EQUAL so if a woman don't fool around in the flesh while she is with you but measures you against other men in the world then she is not loyal to you and it will affect you. Now men have been trained by Women that they are INNOCENT and men believe it, so when a man fool around in the flesh he is led to believe that the relationship is one sided and she did noting ( WRONG WRONG )

It is just and fair for a man to fool around in the flesh if the woman he is with fools around in her mind. The hardest think for a woman to do is to be loyal to a man in the mind, it's like asking a man to be loyal to her in the flesh. Ever head of a man been locked up for beating his Wife , sure you have, ever head of a Woman been locked up for beating up on her husbads mind ( NO ) See women have men so stupified that they don't even put it in the law where if a woman beat a mans mind up she should then go to jail.

Did man think that as men are physical and can beat a woman up that women would not have protection of some sort ( WRONG ) their protection is in their minds they are much stronger than men in mind as men are stronger in the flesh.

So you whine that such an injustice have been done to her, lets ask her if she can be totally loyal to him in mind ( she will listen, trust him do what ever he tles her to do, not measure him against other men ( I DON'T THINK SO ) What we do it is not sex what we do is we go for cover, which inturn will give us respect when entering a woman what ever amount she have to offfer and that depents on what state of mind she is in relative to how she views you in her mind.
What a woman do is to take fullfillment from the man and respect what ever that amount is depending on the mans physical arrangent.
In total we take respect from each other depending on what the other person have to offer.. The word sex has the religious conentation of it been bad,, all it is is the exchange of respect where we the ( Man, Woman ) receive respect it make us feel viable and real in life thats is. But most of all with out it we get very angry it is a release for both. Men have been known to kill another man but would be afraid to tell his wife yes I have been with that woman,, what a shame the things that goes on in the world. keep an eye out for the hew DAWN

I have ask a few women if non-married men and women can have a close 1 on 1 friendship with each other "without sex", like 2 men would be friends or 2 women would be friends,, this would include,,

1) going food shopping together,
2) going to lunch or supper together,
3, swimming,
4, going to a bar,
5), close shopping,
A) any and all every day things,,

all women told me no "no", sex would get in the way at some time..

I think this works until the guy faces a situation when a women says or allows the friendship to cross the line. From there I think that any guy would then go all the way. In otherwords, if a guy sees the green light he's going all out, which says that the ulitmate goal is to have sex if the oportunity presented itself.

Is sex really sex or is it an exchange of respect the word sex has the conentaion of been bad with religious overtones,, if one makes one feel viable then respect would be more the appropiate word,,guess that would be the reason why people like it so much,,, you feel real and viable,,if you go into that which you respect,,you feel I got in beacuese am respected, if you hold onto some thing you respect you feel respected becuse you were able to hold on to it.

An odd twist on the original post a few months back. I recently went to a baby shower with my wife, there were a few couples who attended, however there were lots of women there who were not with their husbands.

There was one guy I know who attended with his wife (they have been having troubled marriage for awhile)that I found out a couple days later who asked the hostess if he could get the phone number of one of the women who went there without her husband. This guy I was told has the impression that if a married women attends parties without their husband then they are somehow looking to get some "action." Well the hostess was infuriated that such a presumption could be made and that the guy would use her to have one of her friends take part in something that will ruin another relationship.

Also troubling is that this guy viewed some of the women who were dressed a tad provocatively that they were 'asking for some' and I say this because my wife was dressed in similar fashion, but was with me.

Now the hostess has told my wife an me that she no longer feels comfortable having this guy anywhere near her friends on even around herself. The line was crossed and now she's got the ebee gebees about him.

By the way we just happen to be at San Francisco for this party, I don't know if this make people think that everyone is very casual about thinking anything goes. Things are kind of wierd now...
