Had a friend lose the following in a theft at his house in Tampa/Brandon area.

2 Trex - 1 XL and 1 X
3 Raptors - 1 30 size and 2 50's

All 5 had 401 gyros. 1 raptor had hyper engine. Radios and servos are gone as well. Canopies were painted and will be easily spotted.

Those of you on the Central West Coast of Florida, please look out for these. Thanks.

Stolen in Tampa

Here's the description from the owner:
1- 50 size yellow/orange w/orange trim,401,148 pcm,gy1 governer,tunder tiger blades. 50 size yellow/red w/green trim,401,148pcm orange landing gear white carbon blades. 30 size 401,148,pink and grey in color w/pink landing gear. 2 t-rex nothing special custom paint yellow/orange w/orange trim. yellow/green w/red trim.

Thanks to the people at Hobby Town in Brandon Fla. 4 out of 5 heli's. were recovered and 2 bad guy's are in jail. Still missing is 1 50 size yellow and orange on bottom of canopy w/orange trim around swash hyper 50, 401, gv1, 148pcm channel 23, tt carbon blades. HATS OFF TO HOBBY TOWN IN BRANDON FLA.

Surprising the guys I know up there woulda kept it. I know theres a guy claiming the N dalemabrey store consigned his Hirobo RTF and now there saying they dont have it. BTW both stores are owned by the same person.

No kidden...usually anything that a Hobby Town USA Store does good, usually results in the firing of one of their employees for violating store policy.

The crew at the Dale Mabry store are a buncha idiot fools, and their shop looks like a pig stie. There's more crap on the floors than on the racks. I used to do company business there on occasion, but after the last visit I vowed never again.

Congrats on the recovery, nonethless.

Yeah I can relate to that remark about Dale M. store! I went there one day on a saturday and the guy came walking down the sidewalk abut 15 minutes later smelling like beer then unlocked the doors! LOL. Seems knowone in there knew or even heard of "LustreKote Paint" either!!! forget about asking them something on the phone, they DON'T KNOW!

What a store!

I'm glad the crooks who stole those choppers got busted as this is close to me too!.

thats funny you guys mention the dale mabrey hobby town store cause i was building a house over on west shore blvd and i bought a apache 24 boat rtf from them and the esc was wacked out on it and paid like 250 for it for my wifes b-day jan 3 08 and still today fighting with them to fix this issue and i have the box and receipt and all original packageing so the moral of this story is i will never do bussiness with them and i thought there employees were idiots to just lmao cause i said the same thing about them
